The Last Layer
I traveled to Bird Hills Nature Area. I took many photos of the forest around me. I took many photos from different perspectives, but my favorite is The Last Layer because it shows the beauty of something dead. It is a dead tree trunk. I chose to take these photos because I love Bird Hills Nature Area and I wanted to show its beauty during the winter.
TREES
I went to Barton Nature Area and took photos of the river and trees around the river. In A Frozen Pond, I show the beautiful, slightly frozen Barton Pond. I took these photos because I love the look of frozen water and I wanted to show that. I also love Barton Nature Area, it is always very beautiful, so it was my first place that I wanted to go.
Rapids
I went to Delhi Metropark to take photos of the Huron River. Delhi Metropark is near my house, so sometimes my family and I will walk to the park. We love the park. I wanted to share an amazing scene that I get to see anytime that I want. I showed the beauty of Delhi Metropark very well.
Up The Tree (edit)
I went to Osburne Mill Park and took many photos of the nature around. I decided to take a different approach from the photos I had taken before these. I decided that I want to take closeups of nature in Osburne Mill Park. The park is close to my house. My family and I walk there often and love walking around the trails, seeing the wildlife and just being in nature. I took Winter Berry because the berries really stood out when I was walking through the park. I took Up The Tree because the tree was shaped oddly and I liked that.
So Many
I went to Dexter-Huron Metropark to take more photos of the Huron River. When I had walked down to the river, I saw a rock sitting in the middle of a still part of the river that had been frozen over. I thought it looked awesome, so I pulled out my camera. I knelt down and when I looked at my camera, the sun was perfectly placed behind the rock that it looked like the rock was under a spotlight. That is why I took Frozen Stage. There were a lot of trees around the river so I decided to take a photo of them.
